Selected first overall and actually made a good selection for the first time in our leagues history (Pictured). Toren Fron put up 40 PIM in the 2 games before draft night. This looked like a massive trap pick to all of us, including Derek, because there was no way that was sustainable. But knowing he could not leave such potential on the board Derek selected the 5'5" Spruce Grove native with that much maligned pick, knowing all too well he might go down in infamy with Bobbi's Wyatt Sorokin or the middling Diego Smith for James in 23/24. But Fron palmed the league by the balls and put together a season worthy of the 1OA.

Tried to get a Gamble bro to carry him to victory but Josh was not nearly the impact player he was, putting up a -8.2 PAA and a 4th worst -8.41 xDD.

Didn't quite get the goonery from his goalies we have come to expect, although Derek still led in goalie bonus points thanks to 12 PIM by his tandem. 

You never like to see a 0 goal scorer, especially when you're on the hunt for a championship. Despite putting up solid numbers otherwise Kai Holowachuk (Pictured) didn't light the lamp once.
