Well he did it. Nick was able to dethrone 2 time champion Jerome and fend off a surging Derek in the process. We all know he will accept this honour with grace, humility, and class and for that we are thankful. I'm sure we will not be subject to any gloating, pompousness, or high-horsery in this years draft. So thank you in advance Nick.
Bore a child who will know her father as a champion (for the first year of her life anyway. Pictured: Nick regaling his daughter's future husband and groomsmen on her wedding day with the story of how he won a KIJHL draft that one time).
54% of Nick's total points came from penalties.
2nd largest point contribution came from his goalies.
Nick had almost 100 more PIM than 2nd place Jerome (748-651) with 3 players breaking the 100 PIM mark (Wyatt Ball, 155; Landon Janz, 141; Ben Edwards, 121).
League legend Landon Janz (Pictured watching a truck full of kittens crash into a day care) continues his Hall of Fame career with 8/17/141 good for an even 5.0 FPPG and a top xDD with 6.56.
Most man games played .The best ability is availability, especially when averaging 3.3 FPPG as a team
Despite winning the league Nick carried 2 of the worst players by almost all metrics the whole season in Jackson Gush and Eric Chenxi Jiang. Lets take a look at what specifically Jiang did:
0/1/8 for 10 points total - worst in league
0.4 FPPG, - worst in league
-90.2 PAA - worst in league
-0.78 xGI - worst in league
